Line to Line Connection     The ALBRIGHT Knot

The Albright Knot, is used when joining two lines together - a Line to Line connection.

USE this knot with 20lb monofilament diametres and smaller.

IMPORTANT - when connecting a mon or flurocarbon leader to braided lines, always tie with the BRAID (forming the loop in the mono) to avoid the knot slipping or coming undone.

The Albright Knot is great for joining to vastly different diametre lines together, like 4lb braid to a 20lb mono shock leader, or for making tapered leaders for fly fishing.

THIN BRAID will require more turns in the knot in both directions. e.g. 4lb braid may need 10 turns going up, and ten turns coming back down. A handy hint is to double thin braid over before tying the knot with the doubled strands.

SLIM FINISH - The Albright will pass smoothly through your runners with barely a bump.
