Spring Creeks in New Zealand are something very special. The water is very clear, and usually there are prodigeous weed beds. Big trout have been known to really stack on the weight due to the plentiful food.

These fish will really test your skill. They are very wary, and have plenty of places to hide themselves in the twinkling of an eye.

Sometimes while filming, things don't go to plan. You just have to cop it sweet when a big fish breaks free at the very last moment. To his credit, Peter had a smile on his face as a big brown trout fell from his fingers. Sometimes its good to have a eagle eye sound recordist on hand to save the day!
